Malaysia's government said Thursday it will block access this weekend to websites that disseminate information about a major demonstration that will demand the resignation of Prime Minister Najib Razak over graft allegations. Bersih, Malaysia's leading alliance of independent NGOs, rights groups and reform advocates, vows to bring out tens of thousands of people in the capital Kuala Lumpur and two other cities on Saturday and Sunday. The government will block websites that "promote, spread information, and encourage people to join" the demonstration, the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) said in a statement.
